[Open Access] Learn about an extraordinary collaboration between weaver Deborah Livingston-Lowe, dyer Liam Blackburn, and costume designer Jennifer Triemstra-Johnston to create a truly local flannel shirt for Ontario farmer James Craig. Wool from Ontario-raised sheep of a unique Canadian breed was processed by an Ontario mill, woven in Toronto on a Canadian-made loom, and sewn in Ontario to become James’s “fifty-year” flannel shirt.
