Our August, 2021, Studio Hours featured special guest Michelle Boyd, who joined us from Olds, Alberta, for a spindle spinning demo and discussion. If you couldn’t attend or want to watch it again, the captioned video recording is below!
This session complements Michelle’s tutorial on “park and draft” spinning, which is a great method for spinners new to suspended (drop) spindles, and for experienced spinners looking to work on their drafting technique or for a way to feel comfortable spinning for long periods of time.
