Guild Meeting or Event

The Westshore Quilters' Guild is pleased to announce their biennial quilt show and sale, taking place on October 12-14, 2023 at the Eagle Ridge Community Centre, 1089 Langford Parkway. This year’s theme is “Sew Magic”. This highly anticipated event showcases the impressive talents of Westshore quilters, offering attendees an opportunity to view stunning displays of handcrafted quilts and connect with a community of fellow enthusiasts. The event kicks off with a Gala Evening on Thursday, October 12th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The admission for the Gala Evening is $15 and includes admission for both days of the quilt show. This special evening features a preview of the show's quilts and an opportunity to meet the makers. Attendees can also browse over a dozen vendor booths offering a wide variety of quilting supplies and accessories, perfect for both novice and seasoned quilters. On Friday, October 13th, the show is open from 10:00 to 5:00 pm, and Saturday, October 14th, the show is open from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Admission to the quilt show is $10, and is good for both days. Visitors can enjoy up to 250 beautiful quilts on display, from traditional designs to modern interpretations, and vote for their favourite in the Viewer's Choice category. The show also features demonstrations and presentations by experienced quilters, providing tips and inspiration for attendees looking to hone their skills.
