Publishing this compilation during the worst wildfire season in Canada’s recorded history, we’re focusing on hope and collective action. We all know that the textile industry has a lot of work to do to literally clean up its act, and here at D&T we’ve published quite a lot about where our craft and art materials come from, how we can care for our textiles so they last a long time, and how we can make informed decisions to use materials that come from natural sources, that don’t involve excruciatingly toxic processing, and that can be returned to the earth at the end of their life or usefulness through composting. Below are all of the articles we have published about sustainability and responsibility. We are always open to tips and topic suggestions—please get in touch anytime!
